This conference is built by leaders,

We decided to incorporate something new and fresh into CASL this year called open opace. There is going to set aside two and a half hours of unscheduled sessions where we are handing over the reins of teaching to the delegates at the conference.

Open space gives the chance for topics that might not otherwise be covered in the trainings to be touched upon, and gives the student leaders in attendance the possibility to lead these discussions. We realize that there is a whole realm of issues that our participants are passionate about, and who better to lead these discussions than the students themselves.

The overall purpose of these open space sessions is for participants to have the opportunity to have important conversations and make connections with other student leaders. These sessions enable a diverse group of people to come together and share their ideas, opinions, talents, views and experiences in topics that they are passionate about.
